Yesterday in the bath, when I turned off the water Zwi said his first sentence "water down stop".

Dress ups
Ronia loves dress-ups more and more. Today at the playgroup she was a roaring tiger wearing her tiger costume and approaching everyone saying "raaar".
Then she decided to become a dalmatian:
Finally she drove off on a little trike:

Alphabet cards
In less than a week we are going to Poland! The trip one way is about 30 hours (includes flying in 3 different planes). Our trip preparations are well now under way. One of the things both Z&R enjoy is learning new words through images, so I thought of making them their first alphabet cards. Using our own laminator was lots of fun.

Dirt and boogers
Dirt and Boogers is a name of a blog that I sometimes read. It also describes well today's activities:
Inspecting ants walking in the pot:
Dressups
Both Ronia and Zwi love dressing up. Today we had some stickers activities in the morning and dress-ups in the afternoon. This is how Ronia decided to be dressed for her afternoon walk:
Hide and Seek
Zwi loves playing hide and seek. He has two favourite spots where he hides. One is our wardrobe and this is the second one:
During the game he just sits there and laughs so loud I am having hard time pretending I don't know where he is before I start laughing myself.

Retro vintage
We are slowly undergoing a transformation...going back to basics. We got rid of plastic toys and toys requiring batteries. We cancelled our Foxtel subscription and now only watch DVDs. We avoid merchandise that is tied to TV shows and movies -- so there are no Disney princesses, no Wiggles toothbrush, no Dora doona-cover, no Peppa Pig gumboots. There's very little pink in Ronia's life and we like it that way. Most of the things we own are 2nd hand or handmade. We recycle for economic and environmental reasons. Their toys are usually fabric, wooden and/or handmade. We are pretty much living in the dark ages and loving it.
